Welcome to Earthsong Farm, an up-and-coming 160+ acre certified-organic farm located in the heart of Embarrass, Minnesota! Finding better and more harmonious ways to interact with our changing environment is going to be critical to life on this planet in the years ahead. We are going to be doing our part by supplying local food co-ops and farmer's markets in the Virginia / Embarrass / Tower / Ely area with fairly priced LOCAL alternatives to all the imported "organics" that are currently on offer. Our first crops are going to be about 20 acres of potatoes and another 20 acres of organic heirloom corn, and we are going to be kicking all this off early next year! There is SO much work ahead of us to turn this awesome space into a working and fully restored 1900's Finish farm. New tractors and tractor-mounted tillers: check. Certified organic soil: check. Two wells: check. ... well, that leaves only about a million more things we have to get done before we plan...
